Well, to be fair, the only player from Muscatine to get offered from the Hawks in the past 6 years was CJ Barkema.
ISU didn't have much competition for Ben Barkema or the Freres. Muscatine is most definitely a Hawkeye town.
As far as the QC area goes, Lichtenberg was an
ISU legacy. The MAC schools are pretty much a pipeline for the Hawks.
