I think the point was that if Chizik looked into the situation and interviewed the kid, that we would trust his judgement. I have no inside information, either into GC's thoughts or the kid's activities, but my point in starting this thread was that if the kid settled down and became a good citizen, he could be an asset to the team.
As well, the loss of his father, compounded by being booted from LSU (his first chance) could trigger such a change.
Frankly, that's all I have to say on the matter. No, it didn't shock me that merely 39% voted in favor.
I live in Baton Rouge and have some very good inside connections relative to what is going on...I have blown nothing out of proportion here.
The concept of "innocent until proven guilty" applies to the rights we have...unfortunately, playing college
FB is not a right...rather it is a privilege.
I see a very slim chance that this kid ever settles down and becomes a "good citizen". Lastly, he was given
multiple chances at LSU and he kept doing wrong.
