Why do Iowa fans hate Jamie Pollard? Because he polarized the rivalry even more than it all ready was. I am an Iowa grad but I grew up close to Ames. I've had many good times in Ames. I have lots of friends who are
ISU alum and would like to wish them well. But Pollard makes that very difficult. Iowa fans paid for the remodel of their own stadium and they shouldn't have to pay for
ISU's too - by high ticket prices or with tax money. And as for the billboard thing, give me a break, he was trying to stir up controversy because any publicity, is good publicity.
