Funny, iowa WASN'T self sufficient when they did the Kinnick remodel, much less their previous projects, like building Carver. Yet they did not have to use tax money. Money from the general fund goes to the AD budget, not construction. Your tax money is NOT going to this project.
JP will finance it with donations and debt, which he will pay with increased revenues. The reason why they have to hire a consultant to verify before getting approval is that the BOR needs to know
ISU can pay for the project.
