2006-07 was the prelude to this year's basketball team, and they had Bill Walker then as well, so that helped.
Their baseball team has been pretty good recently.
Their women's basketball team has been near the top of the conf this decade, here and there.
Lots and lots of reasons, I guess, IMO. Football is the big one though... people tend to dismiss that the Big XII was formed with Nebraska, KSU and Colorado being the powerhouses and UT and OU not at the top... KSU is a lot better as a program than people tend to believe.
I hear you on the success, BUT there is no way they are making money on
WBB and baseball. Maybe it's the bowl revenue and I guess the difference between their football attendance and ours.(I dont know what that is).
