The rub is, you're listing just one dimension of the game. You don't keep a receiver simply because of his ability to catch the jump ball in the red zone - every position on the 53 man roster is so precious that teams simply can't afford to do that.
I think you can, assuming (and I stress this), that he is competent in other areas to be a 4th or 5th wide receiver. That is a whole different argument though. I don't know what his odds are, but I would think there are better teams for him than the Saints. I don't know though.
