Unfortunately, as we've been seeing, the strength of schedule doesn't mean much at the end of the season. Kansas had a patsy schedule last year, and had a shot at the National title. Nebraska is softening up their schedule, and Iowa would rather NOT play Iowa State and schedule a sure win. The entire thing is screwed up, with a win against Maine or Florida Int. (Iowa's first two horrible opponents) the same as one against a quality opponent. Iowa State just has to take care of business, win the first two, then start Iowa's losing streak. As for Iowa, they want the easy schedule,and who can blame them?
