I was reading a 'new top 25' poll the other day by Schlabaugh of ESPN. Not that he is the final say on such matters, but I noticed that five of his current preseason top 25 teams are on Iowa's schedule:
ESPN - Buckeyes rise to No. 1 in updated Top 25 - College Football ISU has two on that list, in Kansas and Mizzou.
Iowa's OOC of Maine and Fla International are certainly cupcakes, then there is the game with the 'equals' Iowa and Iowa State...and Iowa plays at Pitt.
ISU plays FCS South Dakota State, Kent State and UNLV. It would be sort of picking nits here, don't you think?
That ESPN poll has five Big Ten teams on it, and five B12 teams on it.
So what are we arguing about?
