While I'm not saying Iowa State has the toughest schedule in the world, they obviously don't, you have to admit that Maine and Florida International are about the two easiest teams back to back on any D-1 schedule I've ever seen. Iowa should easily beat either one with their second or third string playing. South Dakota State should be beatable for Iowa State, but they did beat NDSU, the top rated 1A last year. And Kent State and UNLV is at a different level from either of those two teams. A legimiate D-1 school should beat all three. We'll see if Iowa State is in that catagory yet.
