I wonder where the $1.5 million figure comes from... When the eliminated baseball it was costing around $400k. The top programs in the country have budgets around 1.5 mill and they have to staff 8k+ stadiums. Title 9 is not an issue though, Iowa State will always have an advantage there being an Ag/Engineering school.
