Well...I guess it depends on what version of God your refering to. (Which is another problem altogether) In the context of Christianity....Evolution is completly on the opposite side. Jesus quoted and referenced on numerous occasions, a literal Genesis. Which, when read plainly, does not imply evolution as Gods means for creating life.

As for the Big Bang....I don't think most Christians have an issue with that. The universe had a begining, it had to come from somewhere and someone. As opposed to everything coming into existence out of nothing...most Christians would believe God is the cause. Which, of course, Genesis plainly points out.
