I have to admit that the crime of rape, and how to protect victims, while respecting both their rights, as well as the rights of the accused, is one of the things I am most "torn" about.

I just cannot visualize a good way to go about doing all of the above, that would be "fair and just". I am glad it is not my decision to make.

Though I am curious as heck, as to what happened between Nov 7 and Nov 14 in this case, and why noone actually went to the apartments during that time to actually investigate it. Maybe one of our "legal beagles" could help 'splain the week spent "twiddling thumbs".

Edited to add: I am EXTREMELY curious as to the timing between Oct 14 and Oct 20, and why Everson didn't go. Coincidence? If coaches knew about it, but sat on it, Good Lord....
