Earlier this week the ESPN AM 1700 afternoon hosts, don't remember who it was exactly, were talking about providing stipends for college athletes. One was in favor, one not so much. If this ever went through it would really hurt the smaller budgets like Iowa State. The Texas's of the world would be able to pay out with little impact in their overall budget while schools like
ISU would pay at a much higher percentage and make it even harder to us to compete. Let's hope it doesn't happen for several reasons.
