We should sympathize with those poor, persecuted Hawkeyes, though. It's hard to walk around with that target on your back, knowing that every single player on every single team that you play looks at you as that ultimate mountain to climb, as their Super Bowl, their one-way ticket to fortune and glory, the story that they'll tell their grandkids' grandkids ("Kids, let me tell you about the Iowa game again."). It's hard to be humble when you're Hawkeye in every way.
