Kelly does, indeed, run a spread. He also likes trick plays. Unfortuantely, those didn't work out too well this year. Oh, and he yells a lot. Might want to let the ISU's players know about that. His in your face style probably drove some players off the team, but those that stayed respect him and play their guts out for him. Guy's a natural born football coach.
That sounds like what exactly ISU needs! They have the receivers already to run a spread offense next year and mobile QB also. That yelling might toughen up some of the players too. Sounds like a great coach but then again so does every coach right when you hire them. Hopefully coach Kelley works out to be the best guy for the job for years to come.
