Wow, that could be a sensational 2009 class. Poppens and Zimmerman are committed, the kid from Michigan is also a commitment (her high school coach believes she's one of the nation's top 15 players; the Trib ran a story on her a couple of days ago, too), and should Prins come aboard, well, then. . . .

And add that 2009 class to the 2008 signed class now in Ames, and you've got to wonder if Bill isn't about to elevate the program to the next level. Anyone who's a close observer of the wbb program care to make a comment or two about this possibility (I hope)?

i would not be suprised to see this team in the top 25 for the next 5 yrs if this girl comes, and yes i am including this up coming year with all the talent we have returning, the key will be the PG coming in this year, what we lacked last year was a natural PG, Lacey is more of a SG, dont get me wrong she did an outstanding job, but if we can have a PG like we have had in the past.. this team could be once again one of the most over looked teams in the nation

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."
