Difficult scenario for Kirk Ferentz

Assuming Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz did everything by the book in the highly publicized rape case, he faces a number of difficulties.
1. If there is a trial on the case, he may be asked to testify. This would be major media news. It's a tough spot to be in.
2. If he has an average or below average season, fans may well look at both the won loss record and his off field team problems as a way to make continuing difficult
3. If any of the notions of a "sex room" or failure to report to police in a timely fashion hold up, whether he was responsible or not, it will be difficult.
I'd like some opinions from the Hawk fans on this. This is a tough spot for anyone to be in , let alone a high profile person like Kirk Ferentz. He has an excellent reputation, it will be put to the test. Again, he may be innocent of all charges, but still put on the spot. Any thoughts?
