"Ghost Rooms" at the U of I? | |
When Jon Miller came over to talk about the recent sexual assault warrants the other day, he referred to Tilison's dorm room as a "Ghost Room". I thought it was a cool phrase for an open room that's available for parties, hookups and whatnot, but then I got to thinking about it some more.
Now that I've digested the concept of "ghost rooms", I guess that Frank Whaley's character from "Broken Arrow" best sums up my thoughts on the issue: "I don't know what's scarier, losing nuclear weapons, or that it happens so often there's actually a term for it."
(hyperbole alert: The author of this post realizes that theft of nuclear weapons should not be compared with a bunch of football thugs "gettin' jiggy wit' it". He just thinks that was a cool quote.)
