This is spot on. Most of these media guys are lazy and they favor guys that make their job easier. I just wish McCarney would have put as much effort into his recruiting and coaching as it appears he put into developing his media relationships.
And it's just not sports media...why do you think politicians fax out their "talking points" to the media pundits on their side of the political isle...because they will just regurgitate it without having to think of any original thoughts/comments.
Wow. McCarney may well have been the hardest-working coach in America. Anyone who thinks different was never around him, that's for sure. During his last season, I was also ready for a change - but no one outworks Dan McCarney. You should hope to have half of his work ethic.
