I think this situation has gotten out of hand, but first of all
1. The packers will never release favre to the vikings, so viking fans forget it, he is under contract with the packers and they hold all the cards. Favre can ask to be reinstated and then the packers would have 24 hours. They would likely put him on the roster and maybe trade him, they would be dictating where he could end up
2. I hope he just stays retired, he is turning 39 and it is a perfect time for him to stay retired
