however, being a realist, we can't avoid the fact that this is going to happen every time a post comes open at another major university. I hate to stir the pot of Big 12 vs. Big 11, but Indiana is in the Big 11, which has a tv network, a much larger population density, and huge alumni bases. If I'm not mistaken, IU has pretty good non-revenue sports success along with a long-standing basketball tradition that is in the company of UNC,
KU, Duke, and UCLA. It's not like people in Indiana don't like football (see: Notre Dame, Purdue, the Colts)... they haven't had the leadership at IU to generate the excitement...
