I was at the men's game against Iowa when the rather small-brained Hawk fan sitting behind me leaned forward and asked, "Hey, what's the difference between football, basketball, and wrestling?" I said I didn't know, and he replied "Nothing! We beat you in all three!" I then pointed out that WE had beaten THEM in all three last year (I wasn't sure about the wrestling, but I was confident he wouldn't know one way or the other either) and his immediate response was, "Well, last year wasn't fair. We were cheated out of those wins." I then reminded him that the Twister Sisters had come to Carver a a few days ago and absolutely sent the Hawkeyes packing, and he yells, "SO WHAT? It's women's f***ing basketball! Nobody f***ing cares! God, that's not even a SPORT!" He then left to go get his third ice cream cone of the night, leaving me with a stunned expression on my face.
