As corny as this sounds, it's not about gas prices for me. Driving a gas guzzler is simply ignorant these days. They need to understand that by driving one of those guzzling trucks, they are financing BOTH sides of the Iraq war.
Here in SoCal, Honda has been one of the best selling car brand for a while. It's time for the rest of the country to follow Californians.
I get tired of know it all hybrid drivers that tell me how my Vette is a gas guzzler or how I'm killing the environment. I get 32 mpg on the interstate.
If SoCal is leading the charge on what to do with cars I'm going to buy a huge Suburban to make sure I do the opposite. I'd bet I use less gas getting to/from work with a Suburban in Ames than a hybrid driver in SoCal.
