I said on the weekend that I would be posting some additional recruiting news and have finally made all the phone calls to be able to get the latest information. Instead of going in to a lot of details for each of the players, I am going to categorize them with their interest in
ISU based on the conversations I've had in the past 36 hours.
The players are not in order of their interest within each category but rather are in the order that I discussed them. There are more players than those listed below but these are the names that I have either talked about in the past 36 hours and players that I have not been asked to keep quiet about.
There are some possible stories this week with regards to Dale Vanwright. Vanwright originally committed to Colorado but has since decided not to pursue that opportunity.
ISU has been in contact with Dale and things are going very well as of right now. It is undetermined if Dale would be a '06 or '07 signee if he made a decision yet this month. Many schools are looking at him as an '07 target as of right now based on scholarships but he is willing to play in '06 for the right school. Florida has offered him for '07 based on one source and Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Arizona State are looking at him as well.
