<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(ce1 @ 07-19-06 11:18 am) Quoted post</div><div class='quotemain'> Vanwright was the #1 recruit of Colorado going into this fall before he de-committed. He'd be a solid pickup, although i think the posters who are stating we've already got several players at that position ( W Johnson, C Johnson, Clark) raise a valid point.

Two big questions here:

1. Since he had signed a LOI with Colorado, he won't be able to sign or play with another program for 2006, right?

2. We don't have a scholarship to offer for 2006, so is he going to walk-on if he comes on this year?

I don't see him coming in in 2006 as viable, based on these two problems.

He didn't actually de-committ. He was denied admission to Colorado and his appeal was also denied. Although he apparnetly was cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse. He was granted a full unconditional release from Colorado.
