The Midlands would be the tourney that most replicates the nationals, as well as your conference championships.
The Midlands field wasn't anywhere near what
ISU will face at nationals, of course...but
ISU has proven over the last two months almost that it has a solid duals and tournament team....certainly, it has proven that on the duals front.
The Nationals are a totally different mindset, but if
ISU can close strong, and qualify enough wrestlers for the nationals, who knows? Minnesota is going to be tough to beat, however.
