When you have that much offense, how can you not be at the top of the big10 ??? NO DEFENSE!!!! The QB Cupito was more of a runner than a
passer. As you can see that changed over his years at Minnesota. Besides
big passing numbers, the Gophers have sent 2 maybe 3 guys to the NFL
to be running backs. The new kid on the block for the Cowboys is from the
Gophers. The Gophers had 2 1,000 yd rushers in 1 year at least 1-2 times
lately. In 2005?? their 4th string back played alot because of injury and
looked like he should have started all year.
With a defense that keeps us in the game like it is has the last couple
of years, our offense will WIN games more than it loses. Bowl games
will be on the calender very soon!! 2007 ? good chance
