I can't beleive what Coach Lick is doing with that team. I think if he is playing this well with nobody....then what is he going to do with his recruits?

The students really came out in full force with those free tickets. I'm glad the storm didn't scare most of the fans away.

ISU Student - Iowa fan. Best of both worlds.

Lickliter's doing a hell of a job. I'm jealous of the magic he's working in such a short time.

Well really Iowa and Iowa State are very, very similar in style. The only real difference this year is Iowa has their three point shooter playing and we don't. If you add Lucca into the mix then you essentially have the same style of play and the same threats, although we would then have more offensive power than Iowa.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

And worse defense.

I think it's becoming obvious that Licklighter is "as advertised"

Lucca's going to need to be as good as everyone thinks he is, because our offense is downright horrible.

I would not be at all surprised to see Iowa beat us if they played us right now.

The defense quote is right on. You win with D...not Offense and right now we don't consistantly have either.

TL got Iowa playing great D and now their Offense has started to follow. Even if it is off, their D keeps them in games.

Kind of like when Floyd was our coach. There were some pretty ugly offensive nights, but the D was always there.

As much as I wish that wasn't a true statement, it is.

These aren't even close to the guys he wants for his type of system either...that is what's scary.
