Probably the worst call I've ever seen to decide a game. Makes our complaints on Saturday look tiny by comparison.
I agree. Usually you can say a call didn't decide the game. But calling a foul, 70 ft. from the basket ,with less than a second left in a tie game, takes the cake.

The Georgetown guy (Wallace) stepped out of bounds because the Nova guy (Stokes) did slightly bump him. Either the foul had to be called or out of bounds had to be called. I think the refs did the right thing here.

I guess i'd rather see out of bounds called, as it was not that much contact. They had not called worse things throughout the game...
I think a no call and just let the clock run out would of been the best thing, but if for some reason wallace throws a hieve up and makes it, the refs look horrible for not calling the out of bounds. If they call the out of bounds and Nova sets up a good play and makes a quick shot, they look bad for not calling the foul.
I think there should have been a no call and allowed them to decide things in overtime rather than call that cheap foul. I thought maybe he stepped out of bounds after the clock would have expired anyways had they not stopped the clock for the foul. I say just let the clock run out and let them play 5 more minutes rather than end on that crap....
