NASCAR is very similar to the WWE in a lot of ways. Before I get nailed here, I am not railing on the sport, it is just the truth. There is NO WAY they were going to suspend these 2 and lose out of the big stories that go along with their fued during their biggest race.

oh i completely agree...they will never suspend two of the best drivers in the sport for their biggest event of the year. it will only add to more publicity for them which in turn will increase revenue which is the main goal

How is this any different than MLB looking the other way on steroid allegations, not reprimanding many players.
NASCAR has proven in the past that they will penalize by taking points away, which is just as bad as suspending you for a race.
I think it is incorrect to think that this type of thing doesn't happen in ALL professional sports.
Settle down there Sparky....never said other sports don't do similar things. BUT, if you look at NASCAR as an entity they have done everything in their power to make the sport cast as wide of a net as possible. IMO only, it has ruined the sport. I am a huge motorsports fan and always have been, but I have soured on NASCAR. That being said, I will still watch the race on Sunday as it is a great American event.
