I used to love watching arena football before it became more mainstream (i.e., before it started to get regular weekly airtime on ESPN and NBC) and when the Barnstormers were in their dying years. I haven't nearly held as much interest in it since the Barnstormers were sold to New York and became the Dragons and the league moved into bigger markets.
That said, I plan to take in my first AFL game in about 6 or 7 years this spring when I watch the Austin Wranglers play.
I don't know anything about these teams this year but I'm tempted to take San Jose, they are usually pretty strong.
I just put 125k of hard earned credits on the sabercats. Whom I know nothing about except they have a good quarterback. Oh, the joys of betting with fake money!

The Desperados are a blast here in Dallas. And always amongst the elite. FYI, Chicago won the title two years ago, I believe, and both teams are always in the playoffs.

This is the sarcasm pirate. If you see him anywhere in my post, it means I was being sarcastic. Thank you. Actually there's a good chance I'm being sarcastic even if I forgot the pirate. I'm not to be taken too seriously.
i watched the 1st qt and chicago was looking great
There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams
