KU & Turner Gill doesn't allow contact with Girls after 10pm

I've heard of building team unity and discipline, but WOW. No girls after 10pm for the entire season. I can't imagine this is good for recruiting, maybe we can steal some KU recruits that are rethinking their decisions now:

please, this just cant be straight across the board... what if one was married? or say was long time girlfriend, or new, who cares... sorry i cant talk to you after ten? what about on saturday nights? something is missing, or his policy is a miss.

There has to be some loop holes I'd assume. There are just too many variables for this to work effectively.

Sounds like the complete opposite of CU's policy a few years ago.

Dumbest rule ever. I stayed with my college girlfriend pretty much every night and the coaches wouldn't have stopped me from that.

Maybe the Turner Gill's reasoning had something to do with this...

Agree, dumbest rule ever. I don't understand how this could possibly help with anything. I did see that in one of the articles I've seen Gill admits that it's a difficult rule to enforce, but if someone breaks a team rule and there was a girl there during the infraction there is a girl present after 10, then the punishment will be worse.

So you take a ton of high testosterone males who in highschool probably got what they wanted and tell them no swearing or girls.....fail?
