He's going to be ******
Bo really needs to calm down. I get it.. he is a passionate, fiery coach that wants to fight for what he thinks is the right call. Granted the Huskers have been hosed a few times this year by the refs, but hasn't every team been hosed at some point during each game?
On a side note.... I saw that CPR was a little Bo-esque tonite. I think its semi-babyish when you jump up and down, get in the referee's face and scream about it. Being a jack *** about not getting a call isnt going to help you get another call later in the game. The ref will call what he sees- referees are not biased!
He's an ***hat.
What happened? Can I revel in Bo's misery?
I kind of agree on CPR note. Especially on the believed illegal substitution. Either way it's five yards coach.
The refs aren't bowing down before the gloriously husked corncob that Pelini has wedged into his rump.
bo pelini scares me but 16-2 on penalties?
Just watched Bo's cop push a Cadet nearly to the ground (neck shot) and a pushed a girl too. Classy. They were not impeeding his abililty to tuck tail and run.
It wasn't until this game that I became convinced that the Big 12 refs don't want to see Nebraska win the Big 12 on the way out. The hitting the QB late that allowed Texas A&M to make the game winning FG might be the worst call I've see in college football or the NFL this season. They seemed to flag Nebraska for everything, but picked up the flag on a pass interference on A&M.
There are dozens of cases of refs being biased, both because of personal ties and fixing games for gambling reasons. Most of them are just doing their job but don't act as if it never happens. We were getting the screws put to us tonight, CPR would be a lousy coach if he sat there and took it. Missouri was obviously holding on a majority of their passing plays and didn't get called on it until the final minute.
The two worst officiating jobs I've seen (both pro sports not football) that I thought were fixed at the time really did turn out to involve officials that eventually got caught for fixing games. One in other games he officiated, and one for fixing the exact game I was sure was fixed at the time of watching it.
I wish the refs would have helped us against Nebraska.
The "roughing the passer" call that led to the go-ahead field goal at the end was absolutely horrible. :biglaugh:
I normally laugh at the misfortune of Nebraska and Pelini, but the roughing the passer call was bogus. Considering that's two major questionable calls going against Nebbie (last year's Big 12 game) I'd be ****** if I were a Nebraska fan.
