Re: Osborne: Beebe and Big 12 "don't feel safe" in Lincoln
Well who really feels safe in Lincoln?
The gap in our economy is between what we have and what we think we ought to have--and that is a moral problem, not an economic one. - Paul Heyne -

The fix will be in next week. No way NU wins that game.

Re: Osborne: Beebe and Big 12 "don't feel safe" in Lincoln
I wonder if the threats were even made. I'm sure some angry phone calls were made and e-mails sent following last week's cluster muck, but death threats? Come on, man.
This is the same tool who back in June said that a new TV deal was in the works that would double the football TV revenue. Six months later and we're still waiting to hear the details of this new marvelous TV deal that for the time being keeps the Texass League from imploding.
If Beebe was really that concerned for his safety, he could've sent Ed Stewart, a former Husker who's now in the Big 12's front office.

Wow, two wrongs make a right? (NE math?))
This is sad it has come to this and while every fan base has their crazies, they just need to be dismissed, marginalized and if needed arrested if they have broken the law.
However, a fans being an idiot is one thing, (If it is not being taken out of context, andI really hope that is the case.) the response and dismissal of the situation by the AD is another:
"Is Osborne bothered by Nebraska fans sending the messages that Beebe described? "I've said all I'm going to say. I've had all kinds of e-mails over the years. It's not a problem."
If that was a the response by our AD, I would be asking for an short order clarification and/or apology. If the statement was correct and this was not done, I would want him reprimanded or fired as a representative of ISU.
So, please do not try and compare death threats and being blown off by a school representative to a drunk student being a jerk.

Not a good quote from Tom...
"They got whatever they got, and they decided not to come," Osborne said. "That's OK. I don't have anything to say about that."

And considering ESPN just gave Texas 12 million/year for their own network that wont even have football games, there is a pretty good shot the Big 12 is gonna get paid, City Boyz Inc style nigga *******.
