Who is looking forward to Shared Titles?
If it was not for divisions this year, 5 teams (NU, MU, OU, OSU, and aTm) would all have tied for the Big 12 title. This is going to get ridiculous in future years with the shared titles, although tiebreakers will hopefully be easier with the round robin.

Re: Who is looking forward to Shared Titles?
I think who ever goes to the Big 12 tie in BCS bowl/national title should be deemed the conference champ and no one else. In the Big 10's case, who ever is going to the rose bowl should be the conference champ and every other place can be tied.

It'll never get worse than a 3 way tie. I'd rather everyone plays everyone like we do in the new model. It is fairest if everyone plays the same conf. schedule.

Believe me if ISU has a shared title I won't be the one ********. As far as if OU and Texas have to share a title...big whoop. Probably means more bigXII teams in the BCS games which equals more money.

Re: Who is looking forward to Shared Titles?
Shared titles are the only way ISU can claim a Big 12 North title, which makes them awesome... "Don't worry Boss...they can't do nothin' 'til they're through sparklin'..."

Re: Who is looking forward to Shared Titles?
The Big Ten's problem is 11 teams and not all teams play each other. For instance, Michigan State didn't play Ohio State this year. That would have determined quite a bit had MSU played OSU. It is still possible, but arises mostly from not everyone playing each other.

Re: Who is looking forward to Shared Titles?
I'd rather have shared titles than a 4-4 team beating an 8-0 team in a conference championship game saying they won the title.
Unless of course that 4-4 team was us :) .

Re: Who is looking forward to Shared Titles?
Shared titles with a round robin are harder to come by, but it has still happened about every 2-3 years in the PAC 10.
HOWEVER, looking back at recent history, I see no years where there were 3 teams tied which is the only way you can't determine a "true" champion with a round robin format.

Re: Who is looking forward to Shared Titles?
Mock shared titles all you want, but a shared Big 12 title would be the first major football title ISU has ever won.
