Great thread despite it being in the Big 12 forum. I typically roll with 3 Tvs(at once) on saturdays during college football. Ive long considered getting an OTA antennae of some sort so I could put the CBS/NBC games at 2:30 on and still roll with ESPN, Fox sports net, and a Big 10 network game.
4 to 5 TVs showing college football all at once! Hell yeah. My girlfriend thinks I have issues.
And we can't forget about the laptop rocking some ESPN 3. BOOYA!
You also need a screen dedicated to just scores from NFL or College Football (CF). Then do not forget the viseo replay capability for NFL players in CBS Fantasy. Yeah, you need wall to wall screens to do it right, Jerry Jones.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
I have an old style rabbit ears antennae in my apartment. I have a lot of trouble getting reception for channel 5. I can't really get any kind of reception for this channel.
Is there anything I can do to get better reception? I get 8.1, 8.2, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 13.1, 13.2, 17.1, 17.2, 23.1, and 42.1. Sometimes certain channels take a little tweaking, but usually I can get them in.
I have the same problem, have never been able to get channel 5 since the conversion. Can't watch the NBA finals. I am moving next month, so maybe in the new house.
I have trouble pulling in 5 after they switched to Lo-V too. A few things you could try: make sure the cable you are running between the ears and your tv is the newest RG-6 type and solid copper if you can find it. Also the shorter the cable between the two, the better. I'd also probably get a powered indoor antenna. I live in Urbandale too and I think I can re-position my antenna and probably get 5 to come in better, just haven't done it yet.
Use this link to build your own from coat hangers. This works. I use this when tailgating. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWQhlmJTMzw&feature=youtube_gdata_player]Coat Hanger HDTV Antenna! - YouTube[/ame]
