    If this just broke, my guess is this involves texting during the just wrapped up no contact period for college football. I think they ignore those kind of things in the SEC.

    NCAA: Texas Tech broke major recruiting rules in football, softball, golf - ESPN

    According to the article, the football part of the violations took place under Leach.

    Is it just me or does anyone else find it humerous that the NCAA defends allowing a cheater like Cam Newton to squeeze through the door of reasonable doubt, they allow Pryor and 4 others who knowingly violated NCAA rules to play in their bowl game, and now have the nerve to call 234 text messages a MAJOR violation? Really?
