Yep, CU is looking good. They have like an 18 pt lead in the 2nd half. Still have to finish though.
OK State is also taking it to KState right now. Middle of the road Big 12 teams are looking good at home.
Colorado has really impressed. it appears the recipe for success against mizzou is to limit your turnovers, CU only has about 5 with 12 minutes left
We are going to have a lot of trouble with CU this year. The best part of our team is the guard play, and Burks and Higgins are future NBA level players.
What has impressed me is that they are more than Burks and Higgins ... a lot of the unknown role players are doing very well against MU.
CU has 2 players that will probably play at the next level very soon. However, that's really all they have. They have the potential to be a very good and dangerous team, but they're far from consistent.
dang, Big XII is gonna be TOUGH this year
I'm going to go ahead and change my prediction of 6 wins to 3 or 4.
Alec Burks is going to be the POY in the Big 12.
Looks like our last trip to Boulder will be as ugly as the FB game we had out there.
Looks like the underdogs are winning today, four ranked teams have lost to four unranked teams so far. Good news for us wince were expected to lose today.
I tabbed CU as a tournament team back in November and Blum blasted me on our podcast. They had some terrible non-conference losses but like Cy's Taxi said, Burks and Higgins will both be in the league next year. This is a good, guard-oriented basketball team that will win a lot of games.
