Colorado might be for real. 2 big wins for them starting out. I am envious.
Man, I miss Patton. Why couldn't they have just kept him.
CU looks tougher than I thought and KSU looks not as good as advertised. KSU right now is a likely pick-off target for the 'Clones at Hilton, but CU looks to be a tough out both at Hilton and on the road.
2 impressive wins for CU to start out conference play.
CU won't be the easy home win as in past years. Burks and Higgins are players.
K-State = Oh-ver-RAY-ted (clap clap clap-clap clap)
KSU is missing Clemente more than most thought they would. He was the glue that held them together and was always good at finding his teammates in a good position to score. It's not as easy as just sliding a 2 guard over and saying, now you're a point guard.
I hate to say it, but it makes me nervous for next year without DG. I sure hope Sledge and/or Odunsi come in as Big 12 ready point guards.
Oh, and yes, Colorado is going to be a tough out.
Eh, I haven't been impressed by Kstate or Missouri (two teams Colorado beat) all year. If you catch Missouri on the right night they're an easy win, but if you catch them on the wrong night they'll beat you by 10. Kstate just tries to ugly the game up as much as possible. I never understood their preseason ranking.
Colorado has the two stars that can win them games. Kinda like Stinson and Blalock. They're gonna beat teams they shouldn't, and also lose games they shouldn't.
Colorado is good. I watched a good part of their game against Mizzou. They were up on Mizou by 20 in the second half. Mizzou made a run to make it respectable.
The Colorado situation is very similar to ours. Tad Boyle grew up in Colorado and calls this his dream job. He inherited a team from Bzdelic that ran a Princeton type offense and turned them into an up tempo team.
The difference is that he inherited a LOT of talent.
Colorado isn't that tough. They will implode soon.
It also looks like the Big 12 will be a better conference in the future even though CU and NU are departing, except at Texas Tech.
