Good game. KU is taking everyone's best shot right now, and takin care of business.
And I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I really respect Self. I think he's got 100 times the class of 'ol Roy. I'm sure its been said about a million times, but thought I'd say it again.
Anyway. Hope to see you do well until we meet again.
I was happy. Great effort. Great showing for all of ISU. Only thing I am unsure of is why we kept leaving the zone. I think this is another sign of the good things to come for ISU basketball.
Anybody wishing KU well has not spent much time around KU fans or in Kansas City. Think Husker football fans. Got it? Same thing. Switch red for blue. There you go.

I don't like their fans either, but I respect their team and think that despite many of their fans I was impressed tonight. I don't really care about their fans. I like how their coach does more coaching than whining. He barks at the refs often enough to be sticking up for his players, but more often than not he seems to be teaching his players and not overly worried about the refs.
Their team is good and the team isn't douchey like certain former #1 teams or the coach on the other side of the state. It was a solid game. That doesn't mean I want a couple of jayhawks up for a weekend kumbaya or anything. Just enjoyed the game (minus the result) and didn't want to be a ****** like some of the "its easy" posts.
The Cyclones made a great hire. They will be back in the tourney next year. Self is loved by Jayhawk fans. He's pretty much the face of the University. When the conference alignment talk started going crazy it was Self speaking on KU's behalf. You can't even compare Self and Roy. Roy did win a lot of games but he was such a whiner and I got so tired of his crying.
