Colorado about to suffer first conference loss
Down 16 @ Nebraska with 7 to go. Colorado looks terrible tonight. Has anyone seen any of their other games? Are they for real?

Maybe Nebraska is decent. That'd be a good sign for us, I'd like to think..

Re: Colorado about to suffer first conference loss
Either Colorado is stumbling tonight or Nebraska is actually a decent basketball team. Hopefully some of both - gives me some hope for a few more W's this season!

Come on back to reality Colorado.

Re: Colorado about to suffer first conference loss
CU's success depends on Higgins and Burks. CU is a very dangerous team when they're on, but when they aren't (like tonight) they are very beatable.

Re: Colorado about to suffer first conference loss
Colorado is mounting a little charge here. Could be an interesting last few minutes. Nebraska's defense has looked very good for the most part.

Big XII play is going to be interesting. KU is clearly the best team. Then I feel like it's a huge cluster where anything can happen. Then Oklahoma and Tech are probably the worst teams. A lot can change though.

Don't call it a comeback...down by 9 with 3 minutes left

Re: Colorado about to suffer first conference loss
I'm thinking this is a "meet in the middle" sort of thing. Off night for Colorado, but Nebraska is very good defensively, which leads to teams having off nights.

OK, we won't. Lead at 14 with 97 seconds left and Jeter to the line.

Frontrunner: Kansas
Really good teams: Mizzou, aTm, Texas
Lowered expectations: K-State, Baylor
North teams who might actually be good: Nebby, Colorado, ISU
South teams who might actually be good: Oklahoma State
Suck: Tech, OU
Spots 5-10 really seem like they will be a dogfight.

Re: Colorado about to suffer first conference loss
Nebraska is winning even with Jeter having an off night. Colorado is very good on the outside - not so much on the inside. Diaz is killing them in the post, yet they continue to try to front him with no success. It might be time to see how ready Godfrey is to be a scoring threat in the post when we face Colorado.

Don't we get both Tech and OU at home this year? Those would have been good ones to have on the road.

We get them back to back at home next week, which is why it would be huge to win one of these road games this week. We could be looking at a 4-3 start in the Big XII going into Colorado.
