OSU attendance last night
was anyone shocked at how many people were not at that game? OSU is a proud BB school. I was seriously confused when they showed the crowd. Not only that but except for the students the rest of the fans gave up on there team and left with about 4 minutes left. Students stayed and cheered. I was shocked. Ihave been to GIA before and that did not look like what I experienced.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Bad weather had to be part of the problem. Our guys got stuck there last night.

Bad economy, exponentially more entertainment options available (as compared to the "olden days"), and the convenience of watching the game on your 60" from the comfort of a recliner while drinking beer. This is a "problem" everywhere, although I consider it more of a reality than a problem.

Re: OSU attendance last night
I was at the game and the OSU fans behind me were embarassed by how few people were there. The student section was only about half and weather was probably only a minor factor. I parked in a Posse lot right next to GIA with no problems or hassles.
The OSU fan did say about half the fan base is still ticked off by the coaching change and how it took place. At least they had more fans there than OU had for the Tech game the night before. That was so bad the announcers even mentioned it, which they hardly ever do.

Why did they have to go to Tulsa? OKC has a pretty nice airport. In fact I am flying there Monday morning.

Yeah with OKC having an NBA team many bb fans choose an NBA game rather than driving to Stillwater to watch a college game.

It was also a hostile crowd. Not sure if the mic was just in a bad spot but I heard fans cursing at the refs the whole game. Every foul seemed unjustified in their eyes.

I laugh at the people who complain about ISU ticket prices to events when in reality they are dirt cheap compared to other college and especially pro events. I think across the board people need to quit asking so much for tix to get people in their stadiums otherwise you are gonna see a lot of empty places or more empty than usual due to the fact people can sit at home with a beer watching from the comfort of their living room on a HD flat screen and not have to deal with the commute, lines, parking, overpriced food/no beer, etc.
