seems like a good fit for him. he can still claim to be "big time" at Miami. The U still has some cache, even though they don't really deserve it anymore.
Count me as one who didn't want to have to play him. I don't know that I have seen someone navigate pocket traffic like he did. He just has this feel for moving around that makes him incredibly dangerous on extended plays. With a little maturation, he could be really, really good.
Miami makes quite a bit of sense with their quarterback being a senior this year.
I'm also happy we won't have to face Foricer down the road. I think with a fresh start and attitude adjustment (wishful thinking) he could be really good. I remember him coming in Iowa game in the second half and torching the vaunted Hawkeye defense...if he starts that game, Michigan wins
I don't think so. They would have gotten to him eventually just like they did the year before. Remember, when he came in there was nothing left to lose. He was able to take chances and some of them worked while some didn't. In fact, he got them close and then threw a pick that pretty much sealed the deal.
Don't get me wrong, Tate did a lot of good things on the field at Michigan but I don't believe he was a better option than Robinson at any point in time.
