Sounds like some d-bag CU fan went too far but still. Can you imagine Fred saying something like this? That program is in trouble. A lot of the fans are ******. The players are ******. The coaches are ******. Player suspensions. Drug accusations. Improper benefits given to players. Rumors of violations. I'll take our season over that mess any day.

Unless his mother is terminally ill or something dramatic just happened to her/the family, then boo freakin who. I am sure it was a standard 'yo-mama' comment.
Martin is just sticking up for his players. A little classless, sure. But really nothing wrong with that in my eyes. I'd be lying if I said that nothing like that has ever come out of my mouth.
I've actually heard many many accounts of classiness by Frank Martin. Fred himself said Frank was the first guy to welcome him at Big 12 meetings.
I don't mind that much. He probably should have kept the comment to himself, but we also don't know what was said.
I firmly believe that Frank Martin could rip someone's head off of their body.

There were a lot of ISU fans upset with the Antlers (Misery) when they called Jeff Grayer's mom a "fat cow that can't even walk" or something like that. Jeff went into the stands during shoot around to set them straight. Jeff's mother suffered from debilitating arthritist and indeed could barely walk.Quote:
