To those of you arguing about which school we have to hate more - why do we have to choose? Can't we hate both schools equally? K-State has pwned us on the football field for the better part of 25 years, and Kansas has pwned us on the basketball court, outside of a beautiful stretch in the early 2000s, for much longer. We have reason to hate both schools - why should we have to choose one over the other? That's like trying to decide, "well, if I HAD to be infected with an STD, would I rather get gonorrhea or syphilis?" How about "why would I HAVE to be infected with either?"
Not to mention BOTH fan bases are extremely arrogant.
False. Go to a basketball game at KU and you'll feel like you should have worn your tuxedo and driven your BMW. Most sweater vests you'll ever see concentrated in one area. K-State fans are annoying and maybe ignorant but not even close to as arrogant as KU fans.
"It's appropriate for leaders sometimes to move boldly against the flow of public opinion," she said. "That's called leadership." --- Sarah Swisher (D), Superdelegate, Iowa City
