Re: Haith to Missouri
This is getting better by the minute. By the end of tonight, Mizzou could be left wtih no AD, no head coach and like 7 players on it's roster with no one signed for the 2011 class. They could be worse than what we were next year.

This is all just so amusing.
You are correct, they have no incoming recruits for 2011 currently.
English and Bowers have declared for the draft, however have not signed agents, meaning that they could still be back for next year if they take their names out before May 8.
Would not surprise me one bit to see the Pressey brothers follow Anderson to Arkansas.
If all of this comes to fruition you have one sad looking Missouri team next year... Two ISU wins??

Re: Haith to Missouri
We couldn't be in a better position to rebuild this program.
Just goes to show you that if you can improve your team now, do it. Even if it is with transfers because in two or three years these teams could already be rebounding.

I know this is random but I am a wishful thinker. Any chance we could get this guy? Scout.com: Tony Mitchell Profile
He was ineligible for D1 so enrolled at North Texas but I think is now eligible for D1

I'm all for capitalizing, but let's build a program from within & not worry about everybody else. Much more credibility standing on our own two feet. Re: Haith to Missouri
First Mizzou almost ruins the conference by starting realignment, now they start working to redeem themselves. This hire and forcing the destruction of KSU hoops could be steps in the right direction.

Not sure where you got your information on that one. From what I have heard, Dr. Tom was working on putting that thing in motion back when he was in DC in Congress even. Missouri found out about the Big10/11/12/whatever looking to add a team and they were looking at Nebraska. So Missouri showed a little leg, trying to get the Big10s attention. Made more sense geographically as well as solidifying St. Louis as Big10 country, and expanding more into the KC tv market, not to mention academics. Missouri already was a T1 research institution, Nebraska still has quite a ways to go.
Now I will make fun of the dentally challenged sons of the soil to our south as much as the next guy, but let's at least get the story straight. No reason to be haithing Mizzou when it was Nebraska that started it.

I didn't think you knew Cyclone Fanatic had a sports board.

Sounds like Mike Alden may finally be toast as AD at Mizzou.....
