Good luck to him. Good news is he is west of the mississippi so he gets to go to San Diego rather than Parris Island. At least thats how they used to do it.

May perpetual light shine upon him.
Don't think that I would be able to fault him for this decision even if he was supposed to come to ISU. Can't blame a guy for wanting to represent his country.
I thought God told him to go to Baylor? Who knew he changed his mind so often?
Good luck to him though, I'd rather have him serving his country then playing against Iowa State. It worked out better for us in the end, if he signed with us the coaches would be expecting him, now we've moved on long ago.

Not a change of mind, Gunny covered this in Full Metal Jacket: God was here before the Marine Corps! So you can give your heart to Jesus, but your *** belongs to the Corps! Do you ladies understand?

He must have had an epiphony when he was in a bunker preparing for the rapture.
In all seriousness, I hope he is safe and nobody should be mad at him for his decision. Can Baylor fans be disappointed? Sure. But people decommitt all the time, and I'd rather lose a guy to the military than to another school.
