To be fair, there are many, many reasons why Baylor is pathetic. I mean, just a few years ago it was illegal to dance there (seriously, is that where Footloose was filmed?) And, has anyone ever seen Waco? Wow.

I mean, we get a few Husker fans, but it's still 80% ISU fans (minimum). That is just unreal.

The only Baylor fans are in that baby student section.

Lets try and be fair about this. Most people in Waco don't know that Baylor still has a football program. I can't really look down on them too much due to that fact.

Can't forget the "Tarp of Shame" Yes, that endzone is bowled in but they cover it with the "This is Bear Country" tarp.

Nonetheless, it is bowled in, and Baylor's athletic budget is about $7,000,000 more than ISU's. Perhaps their fans don't show up at games, but the ones that do apparently know how to support the AD...

Okay, they have more money but damn when your field gets renamed "Kyle Field North" for the weekend that's pretty ******* sad. I'm sorry the extra money doesn't mean jack if people don't go and support their team on gameday.

Disappointing to be sure, but A&M is an hour away with 37K undergrads to our 13K and our image as a rich school doesn't get very many t-shirt fans around here. A&M's image of the blue-collar farming school (even though they get city kids more often than not now) does do well.

ISU could do alot of nice things with another $7,000,000/yr. That kind of cash should not be scoffed at.

Isn't Baylor's Athletic Department completely in the red? We do much, much better than them with fan support.

We had 40K+ for all our home games this year which if you go by school size would be like A&M getting 120,000 every game. Now in real terms it doesn't work that way, but BU isn't going to get 50K without help until we get to 20,000 students.
