Thomas Robinson Steals show at Amare Skills Camp
After reading this article and watching the video of him I don't think Kansas is going to take much of a step back next year and he could end up a competing for player of the year in the Big 12. Kansas Jayhawks' Thomas Robinson steals show at Amar'e Stoudemire Skills camp - National NBA Draft | Examiner.com -

Hopefully we'll have some post defense this year. Royce is gonna have his hands full

One great player doesn't make a great team.
I expect KU to be a top Big 12 team next year- but I think the difference from previous years is they don't have that deep returning lineup that fans would expect to dominate the conference going into the year.
With players from KU/TX jumping to the NBA early, coaching turnover and loss of CU/NU I feel the Big 12 hoops season will be wide open. ISU has been down for 6 seasons- so we won't get respect from the media types in preseason polls.
However, our mix of returning players and transfers has me cautiously optimistic this can be an NCAA Tournament team next year. We have post size, athletic wings and solid shooting guards. The pieces are there- its up to the staff to create a team concept that is strong fundamentally (eg. defense, rebounding, value ball).

I agree, I think KU will be near the top but they don't have the depth this year they normally have. Their lack of depth will work to our advantage because this year we are deep plus we are going to play up tempo. I predict a season split with KU. I don't think there is any team we can't beat at least once, and some teams we should beat twice.

Re: Thomas Robinson Steals show at Amare Skills Camp
Most of us already knew this. Robinson could have been a first rounder this year. He is not being overlooked by many. And honestly I hope nothing but the best for this guy he has been through a ton.

Well at least he doesn't have an equally talented twin brother to deal with. Hopefully Royce can cancel him out and our gurads can control the game bombing threes.

He will be legit and will give our 4-5 difficulty.
The biggest surprise for me was the Amare Stoudamire has a skills camp... what skills do they teach? How to rock sport goggles? how to disrupt team chemistry?

Oh, I thought this was another KU player getting in trouble for something. I thought he actually stole the show. No, he just gets into fights....
