SEC doesn't want sued that's why A&M will submit their application first then be accepted...just like Nebraska in 2010.

Who will the second team be though? It will not be FSU, Clemson, Georgia Tech or Miami.

I think this is a little different Nebby never agreed to a TV contract. The contract was settled after Nebby left.

If college FB is all about money, then the B12 should sue TAM for all they can for not owning up to the contract if they want out. This is all getting to be a real big turn off for me an college sports in general.

kNebraska was under a television contract with the Big XII just not the new one.

Besides, no school agrees to a television contract for 1st and 2nd tier rights. They give those rights to the conference.

The rules for leaving the conference remain unchanged. The bylaws were never changed. Beebe has said 'they never got around to it.'

Hate to say it but, hopefully Mizzou and we can get this whole thing settled and done, once and for all. I hope we land in an AQ conference but at this point, just want the BS over!

basically what he is saying is blah blah blah, I will submit my application tomorrow around three pm and the sec will accept my application so they do not get sued. The remaining big twelve better start looking even harder now and make damn sure nobody else leaves or egg is on our faces!!!!

How could anyone think the rules for leaving the Big XII are the same today as when NU left, we just signed a 1.17 Billion dollar TV deal based on the 10 team membership. Do you think all involved were so dumb they did not add provisions to protect conference stability?? There is no dollar amount buy out. It is based on the economic impact on the remaining schools. This amount would need to be argued, if necessary, in court because it involves the current FOX contract, as well as, the potential impact on the upcoming ESPN contract negotiations and other considerations as well.
